Stanislav Petera is a Prague based photographer known for his cinematic approach to photography. He’s using permanent lights to sculpt images which resemble stills from movies…that were never shot.

He was commissioned to create a story that would celebrate the anniversary of Gripen jet fighters first landing in Czech Republic and joining the NATO Allied Air Command, safeguarding the sky over Europe.

The shoot itself took three days and involved an intense air-to-air session. In this scenario the fighter jets are intercepting a plane, which has lost radio communication, checking with it’s pilots and guiding it to the nearest airport.

Photos were taken using Hasselblad H6D-100C, Canon R5 and Autel Evo II Pro. We also used Fomei permanent cinema lights and Ecoflow battery generators.
